Case study · The Labelmaker × Talanum

A new language should not mean a new website.

The Labelmaker already had an established WordPress site, a substantial portfolio and a visual identity worth preserving. Talanum added a working German version around what was already there.

Quality translation. WordPress implementation. Multilingual QA. A result the client keeps.

The real brief

Add German without throwing away what already works.

The visible request sounded simple: make the website available in German. The actual project was broader. The Labelmaker had years of portfolio content, existing navigation, project categories, images, layouts and published pages that all needed to continue working together.

Rebuilding the site would have created unnecessary risk. A separate German website would have created another property to maintain. Translation alone would have left implementation, structure and launch unresolved.

Portfolio breadth

Near 200 projects. One portfolio. Two language paths.

Across a large, visually diverse portfolio, the point is not to redesign the work. The same project imagery stays in place while titles, language paths and customer-facing content work for the second audience.

Translation quality matters

A technically multilingual website can still sound wrong.

The German content was treated as customer-facing business communication, not as text to be transferred sentence by sentence. The work passed through multiple review layers for meaning, terminology, context, consistency and fit inside the real website.

01

Meaning

The original intent has to survive the move into another language.

02

Context

Words are checked in the page, section and customer journey where they actually appear.

03

Consistency

Terminology and tone stay coherent across a content-rich website.

04

Website QA

The final wording is checked as part of a working website, not only as isolated copy.

More than translation

Professional translation can already be a major project cost. It still does not launch the website.

On a content-rich site, high-quality professional translation alone can represent a substantial part of the project budget. After that, somebody still has to implement the content correctly, preserve the layouts, connect the language versions, check the site and prepare it for launch.

Talanum treats those responsibilities as one managed delivery, so the client is not left coordinating translators, developers and final website QA as separate projects.

Live proof

Do not take our word for it. Check the website.

The strongest evidence is public. The same Cin·Cin portfolio project is live in English and German, on the same established WordPress website.

Why Talanum

There are cheaper-looking ways to buy pieces of the problem.

The difference is what the business still has to coordinate, fix or keep paying for after those pieces are purchased.

Translation only

Good text can still stop at a document.

The business still needs WordPress implementation, multilingual structure, final website QA and launch coordination.

Plugin-led DIY

The tool is not the project.

Software can provide multilingual capability, but content quality, setup decisions, implementation and checking still need ownership.

Separate market site

Independence can become duplication.

A second website creates another property to maintain, update and keep aligned with the original.

Talanum

One managed delivery.

Quality localization, implementation, multilingual QA and handover are treated as one connected project.

A result you keep.

What the client keeps

The German version is an extension of the client's website, not a rental.

01

Ownership

The delivered language content and website result remain with the client.

02

No forced subscription

There is no mandatory Talanum subscription simply to keep the delivered language version available.

03

Optional continuity

Additional languages, compatibility work and ongoing managed localization can be added when useful.

The result

The Labelmaker did not need another website. It needed the website it already trusted to work for another audience.

Talanum combined language quality, WordPress implementation and QA into one delivery while preserving the existing website and the client's control after launch.

One website. Another market. A result the client keeps.
